DERA MURAD JAMALI: Two people were shot dead on Monday by unknown armed motorcyclists near Usta Muhammad area of Jaffarabad district.

Police said the victims, identified as Muhammad Iqbal Magsi and Zulfiqar Ali Magsi, were going home after workin on their land when the armed men on motorcycles opened fire, killing them on the spot.

The bodies were shifted to district hospital and later handed over to the relatives.

Police said the killing was a result of an old enmity. A case has been registered against the killers who escaped after the incident.

Two killed, six injured in road accident

Two people were killed and six others injured in a road accident in Qila Saifullah district on Monday.

Levies officials said that a vehicle carrying eight people overturned at Kan Mehtarzai area of Qila Saifullah district, leaving two people dead and six others injured.

Soon after receiving information about the incident, Levies personnel rushed to the area and shifted bodies and the injured to district hospital.

The injured were referred to Quetta Civil Hospital after first aid.

The condition of two injured people was stated to be serious as they suffered multiple injuries. The cause of the incident was speeding.
