BUNER: Four policemen, including the in-charge of a local police post, were injured on Wednesday when an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated near their vehicle during a patrol in the Nawagai area of Buner district.

According to District Police Officer (DPO) Shah Hassan, the incident occurred as a police van was conducting a routine patrol near Kankai Chowk. The explosion injured Assistant Sub-Inspector Shahid Zada, who oversees the Ambela police post, along with constables Noor Mohammad, Iftikhar Ali and Altaf Ahmad.
