MUZAFFARABAD: The Health Department of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has issued appointment orders of as many as 147 doctors in accordance with the recommendations of the Public Service Commission.

According to a notification issued by the health secretariat, 19 appointees are from district Kotli, 18 from district Muzaffarabad, 13 each from Poonch and Mirpur districts, 12 from district Bhimber, 10 from district Bagh, 9 from district Sudhnoti, 6 from district Haveli, 5 from district Neelum.

In addition to them, 9 appointees are from the families of post-1989 refugees, and 28 are from the Pakistan based families of refugees from India occupied Jammu and Kashmir. One doctor has been appointed against the quota of differently-abled persons.
