HARIPUR: The district administration sealed several sweets and bakers’ shops and eateries here the other day for not observing the prescribed health and hygiene regulations.

According to a statement issued from office of deputy commissioner, the Assistant Commissioner II, Faraz Qureshi conducted a surprise raid on different sweet and bakers’ shops and eateries in the city.

During inspection of kitchens and selling points of outlets, they found that management and staff of the sweet and food outlets didn’t observe the health and hygiene regulations issued by the food authorities. The assistant commissioner sealed two sweet and bakers’ shops including Rajput Bakers, Al Jannat Sweets and Bakers, Mahtam al Bukhari Hotel, Food Palace and others.
