LAHORE: The start of the latest season of Pakistan’s premier domestic cricket tournament Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, which was scheduled to begin on Sunday, has been postponed without any announcement by the country’s cricket board.

The domestic schedule uploaded on the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) website still showed the initial dates as of Monday.

It is not the first time a domestic tournament has faced delay this season, with the Inter-district Junior Championship and the Champions One-day Cup earlier meeting the same fate.

The domestic cricket department of the PCB remained silent about the postponement of the Quaid Trophy, mentioning no reasons behind the delay.
