MUZAFFARGARH: Two persons allegedly gang-raped their married cousin in the Daira Deen Panah area in Kot Addu and made a video of the incident, which they later used to blackmail her.

Police have registered a case against the accused under sections 375A, 292, 376, and 511 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

According to the complainant, who works as a labourer with a camel cart, his wife keeps ducks at their home. He said one evening, his cousins lured his wife by claiming that one of her ducks had wandered into their home. When she went to their house to investigate, the two suspects allegedly gang-raped her and recorded the incident.

The complainant further alleged that the suspects threatened his wife, instructing her to remain silent or face consequences.

Some days later, the alleged gang-rape survivor approached one of the suspect’s wife and complained about the assault and video, requesting its deletion.

The suspect’s wife reportedly confirmed that she had seen the video on Oct 21 and invited the victim to come to her house to delete it herself.

When the victim arrived at the suspect’s house, he allegedly attempted to rape her again. The alleged survivor cried out for help, alerting her husband and others.

Police have registered a case, and officials said the suspects would be arrested soon.
