TOBA TEK SINGH: Two persons allegedly tortured a boy and humiliated him on allegations of rape bid at Chak 680/21-GB, Pirmahal.

In the first information report (FIR), Muhammad Ramzan said his son, an electrician, was called by telephone by a woman, Saima Jamil, to repair the electric wires at her house. When he was at work, Muhammad Pervez and Maajid Amin, reached there, overpowered him and took him to their cattle shed.

They blamed him that he had come to rape the woman. They turned him semi-naked, tortured him and forced him to rub his nose on earth while they captured it in a mobile phone camera. Pirmahal police registered a case against the suspects.

DIES: A girl student of a college died after falling from the window of her room in a private hostel near Dhobhi Ghat Ground in the Gulberg area of Faisalabad on Saturday night.

Safina Haneef was talking on her mobile phone while sitting in the window of her room on the upper floor of the building when she lost balance and fell down. As a result, she was critically injured and died instantly.

MURDER: A woman was murdered by her son-in-law and his six accomplices at Chak 246 RB, Kukkarwala, Faisalabad.

According to Roshanwala police, Zahid Ghumman had contracted a court marriage with the daughter of Saleema Bibi and both families had enmity over the same.

The suspect and his six accomplices attacked her house on Sunday and tortured her son and a neighbour.

When Saleema Bibi attempted to rescue her son, the suspects tortured her. As a result, she fell down on the ground and died on impact.

Police arrested one of the suspects and were conducting raids to arrest others.
