TAXILA: A woman was killed while three siblings were injured in two road accidents in Attock on Monday, police and rescue sources said.

In the first incident, a woman was hit by a passenger van near Fatehjang interchange in the limits of Fatehjang police station.

Police sources said that 50 -year-old Mukhtiar Begum was crossing the road when the van hit her as a result she died on the spot. The passenger van driver managed to escape with his vehicle. Later, the body of the woman was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

Moreover, three siblings received multiple injuries when their motorcycle collided head on with a car coming from opposite direction on Kohat road near Pind Sultani in the limits of Jand police station. The injured students identified as Afzal, 15, Shahzad, nine and Rabia, 15, were shifted to tehsil headquarters hospital Jand.

Four rape suspects arrested

Wah Cantonment and Pindigheb Police arrested four suspects in sexual assault cases in their respective jurisdiction on Monday, police sources said.

The Wah Cantonment police arrested two teenagers for sexually assaulting their friend. The victim’s brother has reported to police that Abdullah and Aliyan have taken his brother to a deserted place where they sexually assaulted him one by one and also filmed him during their assault.

Moreover, a married woman has reported to the same police that the suspect has took her to a house on pretext of showing her a house available for rent where he raped her.

Separately, a nine years old girl was allegedly assaulted by a man in the limits of Pindigheb police station.

Father of the girl reported to police that the man took his daughter to a deserted place on the pretext of lending her money where he allegedly raped her.

After medical examination of the victims which confirmed the assault, police have registered separate cases and arrested the suspects.
