Four of a family shot dead over marriage dispute

NAWABSHAH: A man killed his mother, two sisters and brother-in-law over a matrimonial dispute in a village in Sanghar on Wednesday and later on died by suicide in police station, officials said.

They added that suspect Lakho Bheel gunned down Reenjhu Bheel, Darki Bheel, Kangabai and Radha Bheel in village Ali Jan Mari, Jhol.

The suspect had fled after the incident but later on arrived at the Jhol police station, where he took his own life by shooting him in the head.

As per police sources, suspect Lakho was forcing his family to get his sister marry the person of his choice. He had made some deal with that person and taken money against it. However, when family refused, he killed them.

The bodies were shifted to the Civil Hospital Sinjhoro for autopsy.

No FIR was lodged till filing of this report.
