UMERKOT: A woman and her 16-year-old daughter were electrocuted after coming into contact with a high-voltage electric wire in the village of Naseer Chandio, located in Kunri taluka. The two were on way to work in the fields.

The victims have been identified as Najoo Kolhi, 50, and her daughter Gauri Kolhi, 16. Reports reaching here indicated that Gauri was the first to come in touch with the live wire and when her mother attempted to rescue her, she too was electrocuted.
