SWAT: Seven people, three among them women, were killed and four others, including two children, were injured when a pick-up van fell into a ravine in Chagharzai tehsil of Buner district on Saturday.

Local residents rushed to the site soon after the incident and retrieved the injured and the bodies from the ravine in the Pandir union council of Chagharzai tehsil.

Local rescue teams also reached the spot soon after receiving information about the incident and shifted the bodies and the injured persons to the District Headquarters Hospital in Daggar.

Sources said that the accident occurred due to brake failure of the vehicle on the hilly track.
