Robbers kill woman

GUJRAT: A woman was killed in firing by robbers in Dewna Mandi village of Rehmania police precincts early on Monday morning.

Reports said four robbers intercepted Abdul Jabbar when he was on his way back home along with his niece. When he cried for help in the street, a woman, Rashida Bibi, opened the door of her house but the robbers shot at and injured her seriously. She died while being shifted to hospital.

The robbers fled the scene.

Police have registered a case under sections 302 and 392 of Pakistan Penal Code on the report of Rashida’s brother-i-law Tanveer and started investigation.
