QUETTA: Two persons, including a nephew of BNP-Mengal’s central leader, were shot dead by armed men in the Noshki area on Wednesday night.

Police said unknown armed men on motorcycles opened fire at a hotel in Noshki, killing two people and injuring another.

Soon after the incident, police rushed to the area and shifted the bodies and the injured to district hospital, where the deceased were identified as Yasir and Israr. The injured was identified as Zameer Ahmed.

Police said Yasir was the nephew of Mir Khursheed Jamaldani, who is a member of the central committee of BNP-Mengal. The cause of the killing was not known.
