TAXILA: Police have arrested two teenage boys for raping and filming a girl naked in Shamsabad area in the limits of Rango police of Attock on Thursday.

According to a police spokesman, the victim’s mother reported to police that her 15-year-old daughter was going to meet her married sister when the two boys took her to a deserted place and raped her. She claimed the suspects also filmed her naked.

When the girl returned home, she revealed her ordeal to her mother who took her to the police station. After medical examination, which confirmed the rape, the police arrested the suspects and launched an investigation. The spokesman said the suspects were aged between 15 and 17 years.

Separately, Taxila police on Thursday arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) wanted in a murder case registered against him on June 13 this year. The police said that the suspect identified as Abdul Kashif along with his two companions had shot dead a man identified as Ijaz over some issue. The spokesman said that the suspect went underground after killing the man and subsequently was declared a proclaimed offender (PO) by court.

He said two other suspects nominated in the FIR identified as Naqash and Waqar had already been arrested.
