KARACHI: The Majlis Wahdat-i-Muslimeen has announced that it would stage a rally on Saturday (today) at Nishtar Park to express solidarity with the people of Palestine and Lebanon and to condemn Israeli atrocities.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, the MWM leaders said that the people of Pakistan are with Palestinians and want the Muslim world to play their role to help their brothers and sisters facing Israeli brutalities for the past more than a year.

The MWM leaders including Alama Baqar Abbas Zaidi, Dr Sabir Abu Maryam and Alama Mubashir Hassan also condemned Israel’s terrorism in Palestine and the region and called its existence a threat to peace.
