CHARSADDA: Women from various parts of the city demonstrated in the streets against unexpected loadshedding and poor gas pressure.

They staged a protest demonstration in front of the local gas office, calling for an end to low gas pressure and severe loadshedding.

Addressing the demonstrators, the female speakers claimed that winter had not yet arrived and that low gas pressure and unexpected loadshedding had made life difficult for everyone, especially women.

They claimed that low pressure and gas outages were making it difficult for most people, especially women, to manage domestic tasks. They lamented that their children went to schools without breakfast.

They urged the gas authorities to address the loadshedding and low pressure issues without delay, failing which they threatened to stage another protest sit-in with their children.
