KARACHI: Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has directed the authorities to accelerate the construction work on the Red Line and Yellow Line bus rapid transit (BRT) projects.

He said this while chairing a high-level meeting of the transport and mass transit department here.

Transport Secretary Asad Zamin, Sindh Mass Transit Authority Managing Director Kamal Dayo and other senior officials attended the meeting.

The minister reviewed the progress on the Red Line and Yellow Line projects and made it clear that there would be no compromise on the quality of work.

He asked the officials to take steps to complete both the projects ahead of schedule to benefit the public. “These projects are a top priority for the Sindh government, and their timely completion will bring considerable relief to millions of people,” he added.
