MANSEHRA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have beefed up security for Chinese nationals working on a power grid station in the Tanawal area here.

“Besides this mega grid station, Chinese companies have also been executing three hydropower projects to help meet our energy shortfall,” he said.

He noted that security had been enhanced not only at the grid station site but also for the three hydropower projects being executed by Chinese companies in the district .

The Chinese team also briefed the DPO and his security team about the power grid station, which will be linked to the Dasu hydropower project to supply electricity to the national grid.
