Harnai, Ziarat DCs suspended

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has suspended deputy commissioners of Harnai and Ziarat over alleged inefficiency and negligence from duty, with immediate effect.

An official notification issued on Friday evening said Muhammad Kakar, the DC Harnai and Liaquat Ali, the DC of Ziarat have been suspended over “inefficiency and negligence from duty” with immediate effect till further orders.

The notification said the action against the two officers has been taken under the Balochistan Employees’ Efficiency and Discipline Act, 2011.

Officials said the government has taken the action against the two officers in view of continued terror attacks in Harnai and Ziarat districts which claimed many lives.
