LAHORE: A constable died after he fell from the rooftop of the Camp Jail under mysterious circumstances on Sunday.

The incident took place at night. The jail authorities have launched an inquiry to find out the reasons behind the death of Constable Ghulam Abbas.

Sources claimed Abbas was discharging his duty at the rooftop of the jail when he lost his balance and fell down on the ground. He suffered multiple head and neck injuries that led to his instant death. The body has been shifted to the morgue.
