KARACHI: The Institute of Business Administration’s Centre for Entrepreneurial Development (IBA-CED) has rolled out the first university-based angel investor network in Pakistan at “Entrepreneurs Connect” at the IBA main campus.

The event brought together some of the brightest minds in the entrepreneurial ecosystem as the CED marked Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024, said a press release issued here.

Speaking on the occasion, IBA Executive Director Dr Akbar Zaidi lauded the work of IBA-CED in fostering the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Pakistan. CED Director Dr Lalarukh Ejaz launched the initiative that aims to bridge the gap between angel investor networks, venture capital clubs and funding opportunities for early-stage startups.
