Crafting love for grandparents

This is regarding the Wonder crafts section, “Crafting love for grandparents” by the Crafter (YW, October 12). It was a wonderful craft and was made in no time.

We can express our feelings through handmade cards, incorporating sweet words and phrases that others can cherish. This craft was meaningful as it allowed us to create a lasting keepsake.

It’s crucial that we should talk to them and remind them of our love, as nothing brings more happiness in their lives than hearing loving words from their grandchildren.

The grand sweetness

This is regarding the article “The grand sweetness” by Syed Zain Husain (YW, October 12). As a child, I could sense my grandparents’ desire to see their grandchildren always happy and for that, they would tell stories and give small treats.

Grandparents are often great listeners — something increasingly rare in today’s digital world. We should take the opportunity to share our problems with them, as their wealth of experience can offer valuable guidance.

The grand sweetness

The article “The grand sweetness” by Syed Zain Hussain emphasised the importance of spending time with our grandparents, learning from them, and seeking their guidance.

We should also prioritise their health and needs. If our grandparents live far away, we should make an effort to call them regularly to express our love and respect.
