HYDERABAD: The Strong Base School, which is facing demolition of its large portion declared by a tribunal ‘encroachment’, has finally signed the undertaking that it will vacate the premises by May 31, 2025.

The undertaking was signed by the school’s Principal Sakina Aijaz. The assistant commissioner city and Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s director land signed the document on behalf of the district administration and HMC.

It was drafted by Hyderabad Deputy Commissioner Zain Ul Abiden on Monday evening following his visit to the school premises.

He had offered to postpone the demolition operation on certain conditions, including shifting of the school by May 31, 2025.
