KARACHI: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has decided to change the venue of its Nov 30 rally and announced that the foundation day event of the party would now be held at Railway Ground near Kala Pul instead of Nishtar Park.

Last week, the party had announced that it would stage a rally on Nov 30 at Nishtar Park to mark its foundation day. Its Karachi division president and Sindh minister Saeed Ghani on Thursday said that the decision to change the venue was made due to “inevitable reasons.”

“The rally at Railway Ground would be addressed by the PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari via video link,” he said.
