Two injured in grenade attack in Jaffarabad

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Two men were seriously injured in a hand grenade attack in the Usta Muhammad area of Jaffarabad district on Thursday.

Police officials said unknown assailants riding a motorbike hurled a hand grenade at a petrol pump on the bypass road in Usta Muhammad.

Soon after the blast, police rushed to the site and shifted the injured to district hospital where they were identified as Muhammad Nizakat and Wahid Bakhsh.

Police registered an FIR against unknown people and started investigation. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
