MUZAFFARGARH: The Alipur additional district and sessions court judge has sentenced a man to death and imposed a fine of Rs50,000 for committing murder, after what police described as a well-executed prosecution by the Seetpur police station team.

According to details, the Seetpur police arrested accused Hussain after he killed Khalid.

A case was registered against him, and strong evidence was presented in the court.

The additional district sessions court judge handed down the death penalty to Hussain.

DEATH ESCAPED: A labourer narrowly escaped death when a well wall collapsed while he was digging in Shehr Sultan, a suburb of Muzaffargarh.

The worker, identified as Naeem, was trapped under the mud but was safely rescued by emergency responders.

He was shifted to the THQ hospital for medical treatment.
