Boy dies in blast inside Mohmand house

MOHMAND: A minor boy was killed and six members of his family were injured when an explosive device went off inside a house in Ambar tehsil of Mohmand district on Friday, police said.

Police sources said that a hand grenade exploded inside the house of Anwar Shah in Chargulae area of Ambar. As a result, one-year-old boy, Aziz Ahmad was killed and six members of his family were injured. They were identified as Hussain Ahmad, his wife, daughter, niece, and Muneeb Khan.

According to security sources, the incident occurred when an explosive device went off inside the house. However, the police said that the blast occurred when a grenade went off.

According to sources, the injured were shifted to Bajaur District Headquarters Hospital, Khar.
