LAHORE:. Hamza Amin stayed atop the leaderboard of the Punjab Open Golf Championship after firing a three-under 69 in the second round at the Royal Palm Golf Course here on Saturday.

Moving to a total of seven-under 137, Hamza opened up a three-shot lead over Mohammad Alam, Mohammad Saqib, Mohammad Zubair and Shabbir Iqbal with the cut reducing the field to 57 golfers for Sunday’s final round.

Qasim Ali Khan leads the amateurs’ leaderboard with a total of three-under 141 after two rounds, and heads into the last 18 holes with a six-stroke lead over Nauman Ilyas.
