HYDERABAD: A hotel manager was shot dead allegedly by a close relative over an old enmity at his workplace situated in a locality falling within the jurisdiction of the Fort police station in the early hours of Sunday.

The victim, Imdadullah Tanoli, was a resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. His son, Jaffer Tanoli, lodged the murder FIR against his paternal cousin, Naeemuddin, saying that the his father and paternal uncle had an old enmity and the suspect, who lived in Karachi, had been seen visiting Hyderabad for some days.

Jaffer, in his FIR, claimed that Naeemuddin, along with an unknown person, came to the Khyber Hotel from the Railway Colony side to kill his father, who was sitting at its reception.
