LAHORE: The Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) celebrated its 26th Commencement Ceremony where 1,293 graduates were awarded degrees.
The event, held at the university’s campus, was attended by FCCU Rector Dr Jonathan S. Addleton, Registrar Dr Nayer Fardows, faculty, families and alumni.
It marked a milestone in the academic journey of the graduating class, which comprised 1,025 bachelor’s students, 262 postgraduate students and six PhD scholars.
In his address, Dr Addleton commended the graduates for their perseverance, particularly during challenging times, and urged them to approach the future with hope, resilience, and faith.
He emphasised the importance of optimism and the need to make meaningful contributions to society while encouraging the graduates to take on leadership roles in their professional and personal lives.
During the ceremony, the university recognised outstanding students with excellence medals, certificates of distinction and the roll of honor, celebrating both academic and co-curricular achievements.
