32 held for power theft

LAHORE: Lesco has detected a total of 517 connections from where the customers were pilfering electricity in its circle of five districts — Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Kasur and Okara.

According to the Lesco spokesman, the company also submitted FIR applications against power thieves, out of which 189 FIRs have been registered by respective police stations, while 32 accused have been arrested by the police.
