QUETTA: A conference on the ‘Investment and Business Opportunities in Balochistan’ will also strengthen strategic partnerships between the business communities of Balochistan and Karachi, paving the way for sustainable economic development.

This was stated by Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT) vice chairman Bilal Khan Kakar and CEO Abdul Kabeer Khan Zarkoon.

Scheduled to be held on Wednesday (today) in Karachi, the event is hosted by the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT) in collaboration with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti will be the chief guest while investors, prominent business leaders and foreign diplomats were invited to attend the conference.

The event would spotlight lucrative investment opportunities in key sectors like mining and minerals, agriculture, energy, tourism etc., encouraging national and international investors to explore the potential of those sectors, they said.

The leaders emphasised that the event would serve as a catalyst to project Balochistan as a premier investment destination.

The BBoIT and FPCCI will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) during the event to reinforce collaboration and bolster long-term economic growth.

Prominent industrialists and the FPCCI members would be invited to visit Balochistan to gain firsthand insight into the province’s investment landscape.

The conference is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing investment, fostering ease of doing business and establishing Balochistan as a hub for economic opportunities, they said.
