NAROWAL: A youth allegedly died from suffocation, on his wedding day, due to gas leakage in a water heater installed in the bathroom in Sialkot.

According to family sources, the wedding of Jasim (25), son of Fayyaz, a resident of Kotli Loharan, Sialkot district, was scheduled for Wednesday.

As his family and guests were preparing for the wedding procession, Jasim went to the bathroom to take a bath.

When Jasim did not come out of the bathroom for a long time, nor did he respond to the repeated knocks, his family members became worried.

They finally broke opened the bathroom’s door to find the groom-to-be lying unconscious.

The family members rushed him to the local government hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the doctors.

His father said that his son died from suffocation due to a gas leakage from the water heater installed in the bathroom.
