SUKKUR: Two brothers were killed and their third sibling was critically wounded when a group of armed men, believed to be their rivals, attacked them with firearms in Raza village in the riverine area of Panu Aqil taluka on Thursday.

Villagers said that a running feud between the rival groups of Mahar and Jatoi clans had claimed the lives of Abrahim Mahar and his brother Imdad Mahar and left their sibling Waseem Mahar critically wounded.

The brothers were at their farmland when the assailants targeted them and managed to escape from the crime scene before the area police reached there and shifted the bodies and the wounded to Panu Aqil taluka hospital, they said.

They said that 11 men on both sides had so far lost their lives in clashes, which started last year.
