LARKANA, April 14: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement has closed its Larkana zonal office, 11 sector and unit offices in the district after attack on its zonal office in the city.

MQM leader Aijaz Sariyo told Dawn on Friday that the offices had been closed on the directives of the central command.

Contingents of police were deployed outside the offices.

Mr Sariyo said that when MQM zonal office was ransacked police were there but they did not take action against the attackers.

The MQM leader claimed that police could identify the assailants.
