ISLAMABAD: A group of students, teachers and staff from The Teachers School, Chakwal, embarked on an educational excursion to the Lok Virsa Museum and Pakistan Monument in Islamabad, says a press release on Sunday.

The trip, organised with the special assistance of the principal information officer (MOIB), aimed at providing students with a unique opportunity to explore and learn about Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and national history.

During their visit to the Lok Virsa Museum, the students were fascinated by the diverse exhibits showcasing Pakistan’s traditional crafts, music and art. They also gained valuable insights into the country’s cultural diversity and the importance of preserving its heritage.

At the Pakistan Monument, the students were inspired by the majestic structure, which symbolises the country’s unity and resilience. They learned about the significance of the monument and the importance of national pride.

They praised the educational value of the excursion, which they described as “motivational” and “enlightening”.

This educational excursion is part of the school’s ongoing efforts to provide students with experiential learning opportunities that foster a deeper understanding of Pakistan’s history, culture and identity
