CHARSADDA: A man allegedly killed his wife and her paramour in the name of honour within the jurisdiction of Tangi police station on Sunday.

A police official stated in a report that they received information about the two dead bodies of a woman and a man, identified as Nawab Ali from Karimo Shakoor area, were brought to Jamalabad hospital.

During the preliminary police investigation, local residents alleged that the woman was killed by her husband, Nemat Khan with the help of his brother Bhader inside their house, while Nawab Ali was killed inside a shop.

The police inquiry suggested that the husband of the murdered woman had suspected her of having an illicit relationship with the deceased Nawab Ali.

The police station concerned filed a doubled murder case and started further investigation against the accused brothers.

Meanwhile, a man shot dead his son in front of his wife in the Dhakhi area, within the jurisdiction of Mandani police station.

The mother of the deceased, Yasin, filed a report with the police, stating that her son was at the family home when her husband, Mehtab, shot him dead.

The police registered a case and started investigation.
