SWAT: A training session was held here on Monday on the ‘e-study’ initiative, launched by World Education Services, a non-profit organisation, to enhance academic performance in schools
Speaking on the occasion, Swat deputy commissioner Shahzad Mehboob praised the launch of the e-study card, calling it a significant step toward improving the education system in Swat.
“The initiative is expected to benefit students and teachers at high and higher secondary schools, providing them with a cutting-edge digital tool to achieve better educational outcomes,” he said, adding that under the public agenda programme of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, measures were being implemented to modernise the education system. He emphasised that no negligence would be tolerated in executing the agenda’s objectives.
The event, organised by World Education Services, saw participation of district education officers, both male and female, sub-divisional education officers, principals, teachers, and students from across the district.
World Education Services chairman Mohammad Arafat Khan and its managing director for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Saqib Rahim Khan provided an in-depth training on the e-study portal, explaining its features, objectives and achievements.
Mr Mehboob expressed gratitude to the education officials, principals, and teachers for their interest in the training. He assured that the district administration would remain in close coordination with World Education Services to ensure the availability of e-study cards to students in all government schools.
“Swat district will be made a model in education across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” he remarked. “This initiative will further strengthen government educational institutions and serve as a key step in our modernisation efforts.”
At the conclusion of the session, the deputy commissioner distributed e-study cards among students.
