BAJAUR: The first Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) inter-college T-20 tournament began in Bajaur tribal district on Tuesday.

The opening ceremony of the tournament, the first of its kind in the district to be organised by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), was held at Bajaur Sports Complex in Khar, said a press statement.

According to the statement, about 12 colleges of Bajaur, Swat, Lower Dir ,Upper Dir and Mohamnad districts are participating in the tournament, supervised jointly by district administration and local sports department.

The opening match of the tournament was played between government postgraduate college Bajaur and government degree college Upper Dir which was won by the former.

All the matches of the tournament, which would continue for more than a week, will be played at Bajaur Sports Complex in Khar.
