RAWALPINDI: A woman was gunned down in Naseerabad area on Wednesday as initial police report suggested that a motorcyclist appeared on the scene and shot and killed her near Pirwadhai Moor and fled.

The woman in her mid 30s was yet to be identified by the police. Her body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for postmortem.

Separately, a man went missing after leaving his house in Gulshanabad, police said.

Mohammad Hassan Khan, a resident of Gulshanabad, lodged an FIR with the Saddar Bairooni police saying that his younger brother Mohammad Abbas Khan, left his house on Monday but did not return till the next morning.
