TikToker injured by robber

TAXILA: A TikToker was injured while resisting robbery in a field located in the Waseemabad area of Taxila.

Malik Waleed reported to the police that he along with his friend Haseeb Ahmed was filming a video on his mobile phone when a man carrying a dragger snatched their mobile phones and cash. When he resisted, the suspect injured him and fled on a motorcycle.

Separately, two masked men equipped with different weapons entered the house of Fahad Maqbool by scaling the wall and made hostage all the inmates. They searched the house and fled with cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth Rs0.5 million.

In another incident, burglars broke into a girls’ school in the limits of Hassanabdal police station and fled with valuables worth thousands of rupees on Saturday. The headmistress of Government Girls’ Elementary School Dhoke Mera in the Kot Sondaki union council reported to police that the burglars took away electric appliances and office equipment.
