MOHMAND: Two children were killed and their father was injured in a wildfire that broke out on a hill in Danishkol Parangola area of Pandiali tehsil here on Saturday, the police said.

They said that the victims and their father, Badshahi Khan, had gone to the mountain to bring fodder for animals when they were caught in a wildfire.

As a result, two children, identified as Shehla, 13, and Waris Khan, 14, suffered fatal burns and died on the spot. Their father sustained burns and was shifted to a hospital in Peshawar.
