BAHAWALPUR: A woman and her two young children sustained severe burn injuries when a pressure cooker burst in their home in Peer Colony, Multan, on Saturday night.

Rescue 1122 reported that Sadia, 38, was preparing a meal in the kitchen when the incident occurred. Her four-year-old son, Ghulam Mustafa, and six-year-old daughter Sania were also injured in the explosion. All three were rushed to the hospital late at night, where their condition is reported to be critical.

SQUAD: To curb street crimes and enhance public safety, Vehari District Police Officer (DPO) Mansoor Aman has introduced a motorcycle eagle squad in the city.

The squad comprises 12 motorcycles and 24 police personnel equipped with firearms and wireless communication devices to respond to emergencies.

The initiative aims to intensify police patrolling and ensure the safety of citizens.

The eagle squad was inaugurated by MPA Saqib Khursheed and DSP Saddar Ashraf Tabassum, who officially handed over the motorcycle keys to the officers during the launch ceremony.
