SARGODHA: A woman gave birth to a child on the stairs of the THQ Hospital Sahiwal and the newborn baby died due to lack of medical care.

According to sources, Sidra Naureen was brought by her husband to the hospital emergency but the gynecologist and staff allegedly refused to admit her in the emergency, directing the family to go to a private hospital.

As Sidra was being shifted to a private hospital, she gave birth to her baby on the stairs of the THQ hospital.

The newborn died allegedly due to lack of medical care.

The father of the baby demanded action against the MS as well as the gynecologist of THQ Hospital Sahiwal. It is learnt that the MS and other staff are pressuring the family to give a statement in favour of hospital staff.
