SWABI: National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), in collaboration with the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialisation (ORIC) and the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of Women University Swabi, organised a five-day training programme aimed at enhancing the skills of administrative staff in universities across Pakistan.

The training provided participants with opportunities to develop expertise in various areas critical to university management. Dr Akifa from Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi, served as the resource person for the programme. She shared her insights and facilitated discussions on learning and professional growth.

She stated that the programme was designed to prepare university administrators for more effective roles and included interactive activities to enhance practical knowledge applicable to daily administrative tasks.

Dr Raisa Bano, Registrar of Women University Swabi, emphasised the importance of such programmes for improving the professional capabilities of administrative staff. She highlighted that these training sessions served as a foundation for equipping staff with modern skills and should be conducted annually.

The sessions covered topics such as leadership skills, understanding policies, financial management, and other areas of professional work essential for meeting the requirements of job descriptions.
