KARACHI: The Kar­achi Basketball Asso­ciation has announced trials for the selection of the Karachi women’s team for the upcoming National Women’s Basketball Championship on Monday.

The trials will take place on Wednesday here at the LOB Basketball Court. The selected team will compete in the national championship, scheduled to take place in Lahore from Dec 26-30.

The championship, hosted by Wapda under the supervision of the Pakistan Basketball Federation, will feature eight top-tier teams, including defending champions Wapda and runners-up Islamabad.

The Karachi team will undergo preparation before departing for Lahore on Dec 24. The trials are open to all interested female basketball players, who must bring a valid CNIC or school/university ID for registration purposes.
