Four matches decided

LAHORE: Four matches were held on the first day of the Patron’s Aibak Polo Cup here at the Lahore Polo Club ground on Tuesday.

In the first match, Diamond Paints defeated Newage Cables 8-6.

In other matches of the day, Master Paints beat PAF 4-2, Rijas/Master Paints edged out Master Paints 4-3 while Rijas/Master Paints outclassed PAF 7-2.

Ten teams are participating in the tournament are divided into two groups. Group ‘A’ consists of Diamond Paints, Newage Cables, PAF, Rijas/Master Paints, and Master Paints while Group ‘B’ comprises Army, IS/SQ/Platinum, PB, FG/Din, and BN Polo.

The competition has attracted top-tier players from hosts Pakistan, UK, Iran and Argentina.
