Man dies in accident; baby’s body found

RAWALPINDI: A man lost his life after his car overturned due to speeding on Chakri Road near biscuit factory on Friday while police found a body of a newborn baby lying abandoned in Dhamial area.

Police report suggested that a man identified as Adil Nosherwan, in his 30s, was driving a car when it overturned at a sharp turn due to speeding near biscuit factory Chakri Road. As a result, Nosherwan died on the spot. His body was later shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for postmortem.

Meanwhile, the body of a newborn baby was found abandoned in a vacant plot in Dhamial area on Friday. Police said a resident of the area informed police that the body of a newborn was lying in a vacant plot located in their neighbourhood. The police reached the spot and shifted the body to the DHQ hospital.
