Eight hurt in clash

SUKKUR: A clash between two groups of Gopang community members left eight people wounded in Qalandar Bakhsh Gopang village, situated within the limits of the Stuart Ganj police station of Shikarpur district, on Saturday.

Before taking up firearms, they quarrelled over their right to use a particular street within the village.

Six of the wounded victims — Sameer Ahmed, Chagi Khan, Abdul Hameed, Azad, Sarwar, Dilbar, Sikandar and Gul Hasan — were said to be in critical condition at the Sukkur Civil Hospital.
