Health mela held at National Press Club

ISLAMABAD: The National Heart Association (Panah ) on Sunday organised a free health festival for journalists and their families.

This festival was organised at the National Press Club (NPC) Islamabad in which doctors from all departments examined the patients, all necessary medical tests were conducted for free and necessary medicines were provided without charges.

Panah president and cardiac surgeon retired Major General Dr Masoodur Rahman Kayani, Secretary General Panah Sanaullah Ghumman, Executive Vice President Colonel Shakeel Mirza, President NPC Azhar Jatoi, president RIUJ Tariq Wirk and National Press Club Secretary Nayar Ali and Aamir Butt were present on the occasion.

Among the doctors who participated in the fair included Cardio Surgeon retired Major General Dr Ashoor Khan, Medical Specialist Dr Abdul Qayyum Awan, Diabetes Specialist Col Dr Shakeel Ahmed Mirza, Neurosurgeon Dr M. Ashraf, Brigadier Dr Mohammad Saleem, Dr Colonel Junaid Saleem, Gynaecologists Dr. Zahida, Dr Asma Qamar and Dr Zahra Bano, Prof. Dr. K.F.Danish, Paediatric specialist Dr. Abdul Rasheed Kant and others.
